Why St. Thomas Law
A hallmark of St. Thomas Law is our emphasis on practical training, student engagement, social justice, and ethical behavior. Our students and alumni have a deep sense of justice and charity, and fully utilize their education and experience to lead the way in making our legal system one that truly champions the rights of the powerless.
St. Thomas Law is committed to providing you with a first-rate legal education, which is coupled with a wide variety of experiential clinical opportunities. St. Thomas Law students have the opportunity to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to real-world legal work. Our clinical, externship, and internship programs include: the Appellate Litigation Clinic, the Immigration Clinic and the Tax Clinic, which are located on campus, the judicial, criminal and civil externship programs, the Florida Supreme Court externship program, our United Nations program, and our internship programs in areas of special interest including Bankruptcy Law, Elder Law, or Family Law.
